New Email Settings

Dear clients of Synthetic Fibers Web Hosting,

As of today, July 27, new requirements for the anti-spam measurements put in place by our bandwidth provider, Verio.com, mean it will be necessary to make a small configuration change for those using remote clients such as Microsoft Outlook or Qualcomm Eudora for outgoing e-mail service.

Service provided through our web-based interface at http://synfibers.com/twig/ will be unaffected.

In the settings for your email account, under "outgoing server", the box for "outgoing SMTP server requires authentication" needs to be checked.

The username and password for the SMTP server are the same as your existing POP (incoming) mail usernames and passwords.
